Vendor & Expert Terms

To join SearchGuru as a verified Expert, you must:

• ·Provide accurate professional and contact information
• ·Submit proof of applicable professional credentials (see Section 2)
• ·Agree to these Expert Terms and the general Terms of Use
• ·Maintain an active profile covering the city and service category you are registered for
• ·Notify SearchGuru promptly of any change in your professional status, registration, or credentials

Verification requirements vary by service category:

SearchGuru reserves the right to request additional documentation and to decline or revoke Expert status at its sole discretion.

Upon receiving a matched lead from SearchGuru, you agree to:

• ·Contact the matched user within the stated response SLA (15 minutes for legal/homeopathy, 2 hours for repair/property during business hours)
• ·Identify yourself clearly as a SearchGuru-matched Expert when first contacting the user
• ·Disclose your fee structure honestly and upfront before any engagement is agreed
• ·Handle user data received through lead routing with strict confidentiality
• ·Not share the user’s contact details with any third party
• ·Not pass the lead to another professional without the user’s explicit consent

The following conduct will result in immediate suspension or permanent removal from the platform:

• ✕Providing false or misleading information during registration or to matched users
• ✕Contacting users for purposes other than responding to their specific service request
• ✕Adding matched users to bulk marketing lists or third-party databases
• ✕Charging fees in advance or demanding deposits before any consultation or assessment
• ✕Making outcome guarantees (e.g., “I will definitely get bail”) to users
• ✕Soliciting referrals or reviews in exchange for reduced fees
• ✕Using the platform to engage in any illegal activity
• ✕Harassing, intimidating, or discriminating against any user

Experts are independent professionals and are not employees, agents, or contractors of SearchGuru. SearchGuru does not direct or supervise professional work, is not a party to any agreement between an Expert and a user, and is not responsible for the quality or outcome of any Expert’s services.

Advocates must independently comply with all applicable Bar Council rules regarding solicitation, advertising, and client conduct. SearchGuru’s matching function does not constitute solicitation on behalf of any advocate.

Current commercial terms (if any) for Expert participation are communicated separately at the time of onboarding and may be updated from time to time. SearchGuru users are never charged for being matched with Experts.

SearchGuru may suspend or permanently remove an Expert profile in the following circumstances:

• ·Violation of any provision of these Expert Terms
• ·Verified user complaint of misconduct
• ·Loss or suspension of professional registration/licence
• ·Persistent failure to respond to matched leads within the stated SLA
• ·At SearchGuru’s sole discretion, with or without cause, with reasonable notice

Experts may request removal from the platform at any time by contacting experts@searchguru.in.
